Dear Family, Friends, Colleagues, Citizens of Nations,
Something extraordinary is unfolding in our lifetime.
For the first time in history, super intelligence itself is being automated, available at the press of a button.
Machines now think, write, design, analyse, predict, and optimise with superhuman speed. They improve continuously. They never sleep. They never forget.
But while the world races to upgrade technology, a deeper question quietly emerges:
Who is upgrading the humans who must lead it?
Because the future will not belong to those who simply use AI. Everyone will do that.
It will belong to those who deliberately develop the uniquely human powers AI can never possess.
This is not merely a technology revolution.
It is a human one.
And it may be the most important revolution and upgrade our species has ever faced.
It's exciting to be alive in these times.
For most of history, "obvious" intelligence was our advantage.
Soon, it won't be.
Which means something uncomfortable:
Your IQ will not differentiate you. Your knowledge will not protect you. Your skills will not secure you.
AI will do all of that — faster and cheaper.
Which is why some billionaires say "ordinary" humans will sit idle while receiving a universal stipend — as if quiet irrelevance is something to look forward to.
The real question is no longer:
"How do we compete with AI?"
The real questions are:
What remains uniquely, irreducibly human?
Are there other intelligences we have been neglecting that will come in handy right about now?
What don't we yet understand about ourselves that this inflection point is pressuring us to uncover?
Because whatever these are — that is where our future power lies.
After much reflection, working with and interviewing leaders across industries, and engaging deeply with these technologies — even wrestling with this very subject — We've come to a simple conclusion:
There are at least eight distinctly AI powers and eight distinctly Human powers. In this message I share the latter:
Eight Human Powers:
- 1Agency – the power to choose a direction and say, "This is the path."
- 2Accountability – the willingness to own consequences.
- 3Moral judgment – discerning between right and wrong, then deciding what should be done, not just what can be done.
- 4Commitment – sacrificing alternatives and staying the course when it's hard.
- 5Relationship – mutual vulnerability, trust, service, nourishment and genuine care between people.
- 6Faith – the capacity to believe in something (a vision), someone (a greater power, God); a future as if it already exists, and then acting on it.
- 7Hope – the capacity to hope for a better tomorrow amidst difficulty today.
- 8Love – the capacity to love God, people, animals, nature, life itself — and thus fuel every relationship.
Machines will never possess these human powers.
Not now. Not ever.
Ignore or neglect to deliberately improve them and we will hand over control to AI and its powers.
AI can inform decisions. But it cannot choose.
It cannot be responsible.
It cannot carry moral weight.
It cannot sacrifice for a cause.
And it cannot love, hope, act in faith, trust, or build human bonds.
Only we can.
Which means something has changed.
These are no longer "soft skills." They are no longer "nice-to-haves," or secondary to obvious intelligence.
They are powers. They are privileges. They will propel us forward, upward above machines.
But with power comes responsibility.
Where much is given, much is required.
In the AI era, being human cannot be taken for granted anymore.
It is something we must deliberately protect and strengthen.
We are not meant to weaken or regress or become idle. We are meant to increase our pace, lift our standards, and become better than yesterday, better than last year.
If we upgrade or improve the eight machine powers but neglect to improve the eight human powers, we slowly lose agency. We defer. We outsource thinking. We stop leading.
Not because AI takes over — or even wants to — but because we quietly step aside.
I refuse to believe that's our destiny!
It is not our destiny to earn stipends while being idle.
I believe this moment is a call.
A call for human beings — and the organisations they are part of — to level up.
While embracing AI, to consciously develop and strengthen the powers and responsibilities machines cannot replace.
To become the kind of people and leaders AI should take instructions from — not the other way around.
If you are in an organisation that prefers AI to you, you are in the wrong organisation.
If your organisation prefers you above AI and wants to grow you into a human being and leader capable of leading self, others, organisation, society, and AI better, then you are in the right place.
We have come to realise this is exactly why we built Me-Vision Academy on ThinkLead.app.
Not as a place of courses. Not as training.
But as a place to strengthen these eight human powers — these privileges — and the human responsibilities (will share soon) that flow from them across how we lead ourselves, others, organisations, society, and machines.
Me-Vision Academy exists to help humans discover the "Vision of Me", who they really are, why they are here, and what other real — not artificial — intelligences they possess that AI will never take over.
We call these brave and visionary people Improvement Architects — IA's in the AI era.
An IA chooses to improve, discover, and evolve deliberately.
An IA chooses to take responsibility for leading self, people, organisation, society, and machines.
An IA refuses to become obsolete.
I refuse to become obsolete.
If something inside you feels this too — if you sense that this moment in history demands more from us — come join us - ThinkLead.app.
And if you have the influence, bring your organisation with you.
And while you consider the invitation, remember this:
AI seems to improve automatically.
Humans seem to decay automatically — if not intentionally developed.
Without deliberate growth: - judgement weakens - discipline fades - courage shrinks - responsibility erodes - meaning disappears
Come learn more and become more.
Because the future - organisations and society - doesn't just need smarter technology.
It needs stronger, wiser, more mature humans, IA's - leaders who lead with their human power, confidently.
